Novel Coronavirus
The health and safety of students, faculty, staff and community friends remains UNC Charlotte’s top priority. The University has been monitoring the rapidly evolving situation around coronavirus (COVID-19) and has been working in close collaboration with local and state resources.
After careful thought and consideration, UNC Charlotte has decided to move instruction online. This was not an easy decision, but a necessary one in protecting the health and well-being of our campus community. Students: for information on specific classes and how your professor will handle the class, check for your professor’s instructions in Canvas first. If you cannot find the answer to your specific question there, email your professor. You can look up faculty here or here.
As of 3/18/20, The Sociology Department office is closed. All staff and faculty are teleworking.
