2017 Michael A. Pearson Scholarship

Dr. Pearson was a faculty member in Sociology for 25 years before his death in 2002. In his honor, his family, and friends have instituted an annual scholarship award for students who share his interest and goals in improving race relations, expanding social justice, and establishing a more peaceful world.
