Kevin was born and continues to live and work in Winston-Salem, NC. After earning an A.A.S. from Forsyth Technical Institute in 1982, Kevin began working in the healthcare industry. During his career he has held a variety of technical, marketing, and managerial positions in radiology and cardiology.

While continuing to work full-time, Kevin returned to college in 2003. Kevin graduated magna cum laude from Salem College in Winston-Salem in 2009 with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, and a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Communication. After completing the Master in Sociology program at UNC Charlotte, Kevin plans to pursue a Ph.D in either sociology or organizational science.
